Grant Writing Workshop

The ORG conducted its first grant writing workshop on 26th July 2022 with support from the India Research Management Initiative (IRMI) Grant of DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance. This was attended by Assistant professors, postdocs, and senior doctoral students. The workshop had several interesting sessions such as: essentials in grant writing, a panel discussion on what makes a good grant, ethics, and insights on challenges in writing grants. Based on the overwhelming response, we hope to conduct more such grant writing workshops in the near future.

On 4th November 2022 at a lecture held at the IISc campus, Prof. Atmanand, Chair of the Marine Systems Panel of the Naval Research Board (NRB) of DRDO and his colleagues outlined the potential areas of collaboration and their thrust areas of research with IISc.
