I have completed my MBBS degree. Am I eligible to apply under this program?

No.  The program is for MBBS students who have completed Phase 3 – part 1 and who are in their Phase 3 – part 2.

I have not yet received the marksheet of Phase 3 – part 1 examination of MBBS. Can I apply without the document?

Mention the previous semester CGPA/OGPA and rank when you apply. If selected, the marksheet should be produced at the time of joining.

Is there any specific format for the letter of support?

Please download the template here. The support letter must be on the College/University official letterhead.

Is there any provision to attend and complete the internship in virtual or online or part-time mode?

No.  The selected students must attend in-person and complete the program at IISc campus, Bengaluru.

I am an Indian who is studying MBBS/MPH abroad. Am I eligible to apply under this program?

No.  The program is for students who are registered for degree in India.

Will I get any accommodation facility at the campus during the period of internship?

No.  The candidates will need to make their own arrangements for lodging and boarding.

Are BDS or Doctor of Pharmacy students eligible to apply under this program?

No.  The program is open only for registered MBBS or MPH students.

How will I know about my acceptance in the program?

Students selected for the internship will receive an email from our office. A list of the selected candidates will be added on the website.

What is the maximum period for which the stipend will be provided?

The stipend is INR 35000 (consolidated) irrespective of the duration of the internship.

Will I be provided with travel or any other allowances in addition to the stipend?

No.  The stipend amount is consolidated and inclusive of all allowances.
